GLORIOUS by Martha Munizzi

A joyful song praising God for His glory. "We praise you Oh God, we glorify Your name!" Sang by Martha Munizzi with Israel Houghton's band.

When you come into His presence
Lifting up the name of Jesus
And you hear the music playin'
And you see the people praisin'
Just forget about your worries
Let your troubles fall behind you
Don't you wait another minute
Just get up and on your feet and

Chorus:
Get to dancing
Singing jumping leaping
Get to shouting
Make it loud and make it glorious
Start rejoicing praising lifting raising
Get to shouting
Make it loud and make His praise
Glorious glorious

(VAMP)
I was created
To make Your praise glorious
I was created
To make Your praise glorious glorious
Yes I was yes I was

AMAZING GRACE by PETRA

One of the most beautiful classical gospel song, "Amazing Grace" is rehashed by the Christian rock group , Petra. The newer , more upbeat version rocks and expresses all the ecstatic feeling of being saved by the grace of God.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see

(Chorus)
Because your love came down
Your love came down
Your love came down
And it saved, it saved me

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come
'Twas grace that brought me safe this far
And grace will lead me home

(Chorus)

(Chorus 2)
Cause your love came down
And you turned me around
And your love came down
And it saved me, it saved me

When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright-shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun

FROM PAIN TO PRAISE

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit" Psalm 51:17

We don't always know the reason for our trials, but God revealed to Paul the reason for his "thorn in the flesh." It was to keep him from being "exalted' (See 2ndCorintihians 12:7). Success can be intoxicating, and intoxicated people aren't known for being too bright or trustworthy.

What happens when you get a thorn in your flesh? It hurts. And you'll let everything else go while you focus on removing it. Three times Paul prayed for God to remove the thorn, but God had another plan. You see, God is at His strongest in us when we are at our weakest. When Paul discovered that God's power in his life was tied to the thorn that afflicted him, he responded, " I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities....For whenever I am weak, then I am strong" (2nd Corinthians 12:10). In other words, "If it's for my good, bring it on Lord!" If you have a thorny person in your life from whom you've prayed to be delivered and it hasn't happened, maybe God whats you to experience His grace and power through dealing with that person. But you won't experience this until until you move from pain to praise. The Bible speaks about "the sacrifice of praise to God" (Hebrews 13:15) . A sacrifice of praise means that something has to die on somebody's altar. So if you want to experience Gods' grace and power in your life, you must be willing to die to self-interest, ego and independence. There's nothing wrong with asking God to remove your thorn. But when your prayer for deliverance turns to praise, you're on your way to power, because God is giving you grace.

OPEN THE EYES OF MY HEART by MICHAEL W. SMITH

Most of us are blind to see the glory, love and mercy of God because we do not open the eyes of our heart.

To see and behold the glory of God, we must open up the eyes of our heart, and we see His promises keep pouring into our lives.

I AM WILLING by Jeremy Camp

A song by Jeremy Camp that speaks of our new life in Christ. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we must be willing to let Him change us. We must be willing to give up our fleshy desires and be obedient to His Spirit. Let Him do what He wants us to be for that is the best for us.

What do you see in me
Cause I'm just a man
With all these insecurities
How can I even speak
When the words they seem to fall
So far away from me
All my life
I have felt your purpose bathed in me
To you I'm crawling now
So desperately

I am willing to be
Anything you want from me
Cause you have given
New life to Me

So many things unknown
The things that tore so deep
But in the end your will was shown
And I felt so drained
Last and blame
You pulled me out of that broken state
Cause this idle time I’ve spent to know my pointless ways
The past is over now
The past is over

I am willing to be
Anything you want from me
Cause you have given
New life to Me

For your hand I’m holding out
Staring at your bleeding brow always
Wanting to remember now
To live my life unselfishly
Breathe my breath so gratefully
I know
With you I’ll face this very moment

Cause I am willing to be
Anything you want from me
Cause you have given
New life to Me

DON'T LOSE YOUR PEACE

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You." Isaiah 26:3

One of the greatest promises in the Bible is, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Who are you trusting to solve the problem, God or yourself? You need to live the principle, "Do your best, then let God do the rest. " Too many of us have the idea that if we can't do anything else, the least we can do is worry, act stressed out and be miserable. The Bible addresses this;
"And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God. " (Philippians 1:28 Amplified Version)

This Scripture teaches us that when adversity comes (and it will) we must stay in peace. Satan doesn't know what to do with us when he can't get us upset ; we've taken a powerful weapon out of his hands. "For such (constancy and fearlessness ) will be a....sign....from God. " Keeping your peace doesn't exempt you from life's difficulties, it just allows God to have the last word. By trusting Him completely you are no longer at the mercy of circumstances , of other people, or your own emotions and limitations.

Somebody quipped, "In times like these it's helpful to remember that there have always been times like these." The question is not will trouble come, but how will you handle it? The writer to the Hebrews says. "We which have believed do enter into the rest "(Hebrews 4:3).
When things go wrong--do what God leads you to do, then rest in Him and watch Him work on our behalf.
